The Interpreter Training Group was formed in 2011 by  Mr. Jeff Torres who has over 25 years of experience in the law enforcement & judicial fields.  Along with fellow professionals in the field, Mr. Torres and the ITG staff strive to provide the highest quality training to spoken language interpreters and language professionals.  With “real-time” information on current topics, the staff of ITG brings to the student many years of experience in both the law enforcement and judicial system, and on a variety of topics that are relevant to the professional interpreter.  ITG training sessions and webinars are always conducted in a professional and interactive manner via computer presentations, videos, “hands-on” displays, take-home media, and role-playing scenarios. Furthermore, all continuing education classes offered by the Interpreter Training Group are approved and certified for Interpreter compliance required by the Judicial Council of California (CA CIMCE) and Washington State Courts (CEU).
